After his divorce, 37-year-old Dave loses himself in a destructive forest ritual. His daughter Sarah struggles with the divorce, which strains their bond. When Dave suffers a severe back injury, he conceals it from Sarah and her mother Yasmine, further growing the distance between them. Dave questions whether he wouldn't be a better father if he cut ties with his daughter.
Na zijn scheiding verliest de 37-jarige Dave zich in een destructief bosritueel. Zijn dochter Sarah worstelt met de scheiding, wat hun band onder druk zet. Wanneer Dave een zware rugblessure oploopt, verzwijgt hij dit voor Sarah en haar moeder Yasmine, waardoor de afstand tussen hen verder groeit. Dave stelt zich de vraag of hij geen betere vader zou zijn als hij de band met z’n dochter verbreekt.
