Small moments during a trip along the Amalfi Coast coincide with difficult childhood memories for Timmy. Through the power of imagination, he is able to access the past and comfort the little boy he used to be.

synopsis

Billy the Lion endlessly tries to catch the ostrich Bob, using cartoon tricks. At the same time, Timmy travels through Italy with his girlfriend Marie, while struggling with painful childhood memories and working in therapy to comfort his “inner child.” He recalls his grandmother’s 80th birthday, a trompe-l’oeil painting in a restaurant, her accident, and how his feelings were dismissed. As an adult, Timmy revisits these memories, meets his younger self, and together they find warmth and comfort in the imagined world of Billy and Bob.
