A coming-of-age story about a group of boys living at the edge of a protected marshland in the south of Spain.

The boys in TROPA are united by a shared fascination with the marshland where they live. However, the survival of their traditions and life in and around the marsh is threatened by annual forest fires. The fire that threatens their sacred soil is also present in each of these boys. They eagerly await the beginning of their adult lives, speculating about what their future will be like in this place.
Het verhaal van een groep jongens die opgroeien aan de rand van een beschermd moerasgebied in het zuiden van Spanje. Wat hen verbindt, is een gedeelde fascinatie met deze mythische plek. Het voortbestaan van hun tradities en het leven in en rond het moeras wordt echter bedreigd door de bosbranden die er jaarlijks woedden. Het vuur dat hun heilige grond bedreigt, is ook aanwezig in elk van deze jongens. Ze verlangen ongeduldig naar hun volwassen leven terwijl ze speculeren over hoe hun toekomst er zal uitzien op deze plek.
