Alec, an introverted teenager, has always viewed life through the lens of his father's small-time pornography business, their home doubling as a set. Since his mother's death, he has been drawn deeper into the family business, filming and editing the content that his rough-edged father, Dylan, produces and stars in. As financial pressures mount, Dylan's swagger begins to unravel, exposing Alec to the growing chaos around him. Things take a turn when he meets classmate Nina, a fiercely independent girl, whose worldview couldn't be further from the one he grew up with.
Alec, un adolescent introverti, a toujours perçu la vie à travers le prisme du petit business pornographique de son père, leur maison servant de décor. Depuis la mort de sa mère, il s'est impliqué de plus en plus dans l'entreprise familiale, filmant et montant les vidéos que son père, Dylan, un homme au caractère bien trempé, produit et dans lesquelles il joue. Face aux difficultés financières croissantes, l'assurance de Dylan commence à s'effriter, exposant Alec au chaos grandissant qui l'entoure. Tout bascule lorsqu'il rencontre Nina, une camarade de classe farouchement indépendante, dont la vision du monde est à l'opposé de celle avec laquelle il a grandi.
Alec, een introverte tiener, heeft het leven altijd bekeken door de bril van de kleinschalige porno-industrie van zijn vader, waarbij hun huis tevens dienst deed als filmset. Sinds de dood van zijn moeder is hij steeds meer betrokken geraakt bij het familiebedrijf. Dylan, produceert en waarin hij zelf de hoofdrol speelt. Naarmate de financiële druk toeneemt, begint Dylans zelfverzekerdheid af te brokkelen, waardoor Alec steeds meer geconfronteerd wordt met de groeiende chaos om hem heen. De zaken nemen een wending wanneer hij klasgenote Nina ontmoet, een fel onafhankelijk meisje, wiens wereldbeeld mijlenver verwijderd is van dat waarmee hij is opgegroeid.
