synopsis

Upside Down River is the story of two intersecting quests. Hannah wants to get a drop of water from the Qjar River, to save her pet bird and honour her father. Meanwhile, Tomek longs for adventure and has questions about his origins. In the course of the story, these two quests merge and become one.
La Rivière à l’envers est le récit de deux quêtes croisées : celle d’Hannah qui souhaite recueillir une goutte d’eau de la Rivière Qjar pour sauver son oiseau et celle de Tomek qui cherche à assouvir son envie d’aventure. Au fil de l’histoire, ces deux quêtes s’entremêlent et se complètent.
Upside Down River is het verhaal van twee elkaar kruisende zoektochten. Die van Hannah, die een druppel water uit de rivier Qjar wil halen om haar vogel te redden en haar vader te eren. En die van Tomek, die verlangt naar avontuur en met vragen zit over zin afkomst. In de loop van het verhaal lopen deze twee zoektochten in elkaar over en worden ze één.
