synopsis

What comes after? Ward N°7 aspires to explore that condition where the boundary between the real and the imaginary, the conscious and the unconscious, ceases to exist. The installation creates an atmosphere of apprehension and ambiguity, where everything - especially the role of the spectator - is malleable. From being in charge of the show, the visitor is transformed into a victim, imprisoned in the exhibition space.
Qu’est-ce qui vient après ? Ward N°7 aspire à explorer cette situation où la frontière entre la réalité et l’imaginaire, le conscient et l’inconscient, cesse d’exister. L’installation crée une atmosphère d’inquiétudes et d’ambiguïtés où tout, surtout le rôle du spectateur, est malléable. Dans un premier temps responsable du spectacle, le visiteur est ensuite transformé en victime, emprisonné dans l’espace d’exposition.
