After seven years behind bars, a man returns to his village. Wrongly accused of the rape and murder of a young girl, tormented by the hatred of the villagers, he decides to go in search of the real culprits. But his quest will lead him to yet another killing which this time will finally prove fatal for him.

Après sept années passées derrière les barreaux, un homme retourne dans son village. Accusé à tort du viol et du meurtre d’une jeune fille, tourmenté par la haine des villageois, il décide de partir à la recherche du vrai coupable. Mais cette recherche le mène à un nouveau meurtre, qui cette fois-ci s’avérera fatal pour lui.
