synopsis

One morning, an old farmer discovers that his cow has ran off. During his search for her, he wanders across the fields and paths of his pastoral universe, while in the background modernity stirs. The farmer no longer has a grip on a quickly changing world, but through the scenes he witnesses and people he meets, he eventually finds solace and connection. Een oude boer ontdekt op een ochtend dat zijn koe is weggelopen. Tijdens zijn zoektocht dwaalt hij door de velden en weggetjes van zijn pastorale universum, terwijl op de achtergrond de moderniteit zich roert. De boer heeft geen vat meer op de snel veranderende wereld, maar door de taferelen die hij ziet en de mensen die hij ontmoet vindt hij weer aansluiting en soelaas.
