Whisky: The Islay Edition yearns for a sofa and a glass of whisky as it transports the viewer to the sanctum of the Scottish gold. The film doesn't just tell us about whisky, it evokes the fineness of the liquor, the art of tasting, the craft of distillation, the history of the distilleries and the richness of the isle of Islay itself, home to eight world renowned whisky distilleries. The complete process of making whisky is divided into eight parts with each distillery representing a part of this process... In order of appearance Ardbeg, Kilchoman, Bowmore, Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Bruichladdich.
WHISKY: the Islay Edition donne envie d’un canapé et d’un verre de whisky alors qu’il entraîne les spectateur dans un sanctuaire de l’ancienne Ecosse. Ce film ne se contente pas de nous informer sur le whisky, il évoque également la finesse de la liqueur, l’art du goûter, le processus de distillation, l’histoire des distilleries et de l’île Islay. Elle est le foyer de huit célèbres distilleries de whisky. Le processus de production du whisky est divisé en huit étapes. Chacune des huit distilleries représente une étape de ce processus, dans l’ordre d’apparence : Ardbeg, Kilchoman, Bowmore, Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Laphroaig, Lagavulin et Bruichladdich.
