Two lifelong Syrian friends trace memories of exile, loss and revolt. Between gestures of care and shared silence, their apartment in Berlin becomes a fragile sanctuary. Across time and distance, from olive groves to battlefields, their friendship endures as witness, resistance and a tender horizon of connection.
Twee Syrische jeugdvrienden volgen de sporen van ballingschap, verlies en opstand. Tussen zorgzaamheid en gedeelde stiltes wordt hun appartement in Berlijn een broos toevluchtsoord. Over tijd en afstand heen, van olijfboomgaarden tot slagvelden, blijft hun vriendschap bestaan als getuigenis, als verzet en als een teder perspectief op verbondenheid.
