synopsis

Wilding is an experience in 360° audio that immerses you in a distant and mysterious past, when mythology was still part of everyday life. You will hear mythical creatures from old stories come back to life and people testify to their encounters with water devils and white women. You will be stimulated, but also challenged: are we really so different from our ancestors? In this invisible world, soundscapes, music and stories merge with the landscape. With sound as your compass, you find your way, each choice a new twist.
Wilding is een poëtische interactieve luistervoorstelling die je uitnodigt om te verdwalen en te dolen in het Bergmolenbos. Deze ervaring in 360° audio dompelt je onder in een ver en mysterieus verleden, toen mythologie nog deel uitmaakte van het dagelijks leven. Je hoort mythische natuurwezens uit oude verhalen weer tot leven komen en mensen getuigen over hun ontmoeting met waterduivels en witte vrouwen. Je wordt geprikkeld, maar ook uitgedaagd - want zijn wij echt zo anders dan onze voorouders? In deze onzichtbare wereld versmelten soundscapes, muziek en verhalen met het landschap. Met geluid als kompas zoek je je weg, elke keuze is een nieuwe wending.
