synopsis

When a boy goes missing, five-year-old Lucie tries to understand why the lake has suddenly become forbidden territory.

Holidaymakers at a campsite are shocked after the presumed drowning of a child: It marks the end of a carefree vacation for most of them but also the start of a contemplative search for Lucie. In anticipation of renewed recreation, she questions the boundaries between life and death, water and air.
Nadat een jongetje vermist raakt, probeert de vijfjarige Lucie te begrijpen waarom de zwemvijver plots verboden terrein is.

Campinggangers worden opgeschrikt na de vermoedelijk verdrinking van een kind. Deze gebeurtenis luidt voor velen het einde van een zorgeloze vakantie in. Voor Lucie betekent dit echter de start van een contemplatieve zoektocht. In afwachting van hernieuwd zwemplezier bevraagt ze de grens tussen leven en dood, water en lucht. Zo onderzoekt ze langzaamaan haar eigen lichamelijkheid.
