After 40 years of isolation, '2055' finds himself torn between the outside world or remaining in solitude as the solitary number that was assigned to him.

synopsis

For 40 years '2055' has lived in an institution that offers the possibility of living in isolation out of free will. One day he is surprised by a telephone repairman on the other side of the glass. After 40 years of isolation, how does '2055' react to a filtered human voice? Does he still have feelings when he looks into someone's eyes?
'2055' leeft al 40 jaar in een instituut dat de mogelijkheid biedt uit eigen wil in isolement te leven. De deur naar het zonlicht kan hij vrijwillig openen. Op een dag wordt hij verrast door een reparateur aan de andere kant van het glas, hij komt de telefoons aan de wand nakijken. Het komt tot een gesprek. Hoe reageert '2055' na 40 jaar isolement op een gefilterde mensenstem? Heeft hij nog gevoelens wanneer hij in iemands ogen kijkt?
