A Flemish police officer wants to go back home after spending a rather boring holiday in Spain. But when he arrives at the airport, he realizes that he has forgotten to book a seat on the airplane. So everyday Jeroom goes back to the airport, to check if there's anybody who cancelled a seat. Because he has no money left, he rediscovers the values of freedom and of a care-free life in which money and time have no place.

Un officier de police flamand veut rentrer chez lui après avoir passé des vacances plutôt ennuyeuses en Espagne. Mais lorsqu’il arrive à l’aéroport, il se rend compte qu’il a oublié de réserver une place dans l’avion. Dès lors, tous les jours, Jeroom retourne à l’aéroport afin de vérifier si personne n’a annulé sa réservation. Alors qu’il est à court d’argent, il découvre les valeurs de la liberté et d’une vie sans souci, dans laquelle l’argent et le temps n’ont pas de place.
