synopsis

Two years after the tragic loss of his older brother, 17-year-old Daan has by default become the head of a trauma-torn family. Because his father has taken refuge in work, Daan feels forced to take care of his mother. The weight of grief seems impossible to overcome until the family meets homeless teenager Radja. Daan's mother grasps this opportunity to fill the void and offers the unknown boy shelter in the family home. Once Daan realizes that Radja is steadily developing power over his mother, he decides to delve into the newcomer's mysterious past. Soon he fears that the intruder may have all the features of a psychopath...
Twee jaar na de tragische dood van zijn oudere broer staat de zeventienjarige Daan noodgewongen aan het hoofd van een verscheurd gezin. Omdat zijn vader wegvlucht in zijn werk, ontfermt Daan zich over zijn moeder. De rouw lijkt onoverwinnelijk tot de familie de dakloze tiener Radja ontmoet. Daans moeder ziet een kans om de leegte in te vullen en biedt de onbekende jongen onderdak aan. Wanneer Daan merkt dat de nieuwkomer meer en meer macht krijgt over zijn moeder, bijt hij zich vast in Radja’s mysterieuze verleden. Al snel begint hij te vrezen dat de indringer alle kenmerken van een psychopaat in zich draagt…
