On the outskirts of the city, two youngsters discover the power of the camera.

synopsis

Sam is 12, a frail boy who is passionate about film. Bobby is 14, a cheeky city girl. She agrees that he can follow her for a day with his camera. To make his film more spectacular, Sam starts to add storylines, conflicts, characters and voice-over. But when Bobby’s friend Buck shows up, Sam starts to lose control. Eventually, security guards in the mall where they are hanging out have to intervene. Reality and imagination intertwine, until Sam can't tell the difference anymore.
En périphérie de la ville, deux jeunes découvrent le pouvoir de la caméra. Bobby (14), une jeune citadine effrontée, permet à Sam (12), un garçon frêle et passionné de cinéma, de la suivre avec sa caméra pendant une journée. Afin de rendre son film plus spectaculaire, Sam commence à ajouter des intrigues, des conflits, des personnages et des voix off. Réalité et imagination s'entremêlent jusqu'à ce que Sam ne puisse plus faire la différence.
Aan de rand van de stad ontdekken twee jonge pubers de kracht van film. Bobby (14), een brutaal stadsmeisje, laat Sam (12), een frêle jongen met een passie voor film, toe om haar een dag lang te volgen met zijn camera. Om zijn film spectaculairder te maken, begint Sam verhaallijnen, conflicten, personages en voice-overs toe te voegen.
