An elderly businessman comes out of retirement to protect his granddaughter from a plot to ruin the company he passed on to her.

synopsis

After a stroke, the elderly entrepreneur Frans Van As is forced to slow down and hand over his business to his granddaughter, Linde, and her husband, Dick. They do well, and the company soon becomes the main sponsor of a prestigious cyclocross race. When the event is disrupted by a fire, Frans thinks a jealous competitor wants to sabotage his granddaughter. He blows a fuse, and hoists himself out of his armchair to take out the bad guy like a real Clint Eastwood.
