A virtual reality experience that plunges you into the world of young Mexican cartoonist Maremoto.

synopsis

Enter the vibrant world of Maremoto, a young Mexican cartoonist who, through her drawings, empowers women and addresses the taboos of her society. Visit Maremoto's studio, join her on an afternoon of making street art and experience what it feels like to move as a woman through a metropolis in Mexico, a country where 10 women are murdered every day and tens of thousands go missing. In a combination of 360° video, animation and interactivity, we become part of Maremoto's ongoing search for her identity and drive through art, tackling themes such as body positivity, sexual harassment and contemporary activism.
Stap binnen in de levendige wereld van Maremoto, een jonge Mexicaanse cartooniste die via haar tekeningen vrouwen empowert en de taboes van haar samenleving aankaart. Bezoek Maremoto's studio, ga met haar mee straatkunst maken en beleef hoe het voelt om je als vrouw te bewegen door een wereldstad in Mexico, een land waar elke dag 10 vrouwen worden vermoord en tienduizenden vermist raken. In een combinatie van 360°-video, animatie en interactiviteit, worden we onderdeel van Maremoto's voortdurende zoektocht naar haar identiteit en drijfveer door middel van kunst, waarbij relevante, universele thema's zoals body positivity, seksuele intimidatie en hedendaags activisme worden verkend.
