Rachita Taneja is the visual artist behind Sanitary Panels, a web comic renowned in India for its fearless socio-political commentary. In a climate of growing polarisation and censorship, Rachita faces a charge of criminal contempt of court head-on, unwavering in her determination to speak her truth and champion free expression.
Rachita Taneja est l'artiste visuelle à l'origine de Sanitary Panels, une bande dessinée en ligne réputée en Inde pour ses commentaires sociopolitiques audacieux. Dans un climat de polarisation et de censure croissantes, Rachita fait face à une accusation d'outrage au tribunal, sans faiblir dans sa détermination à dire la vérité et à défendre la liberté d'expression.
Rachita Taneja is de beeldend kunstenaar achter Sanitary Panels, een webcomic bekend voor onverschrokken sociaal-politiek commentaar. In een klimaat van toenemende polarisatie en censuur wordt Rachita geconfronteerd met een strafrechtelijke procedure voor ‘minachting van het hooggerechtshof’. Ze is en blijft vastberaden haar waarheid vertolken en komt op voor vrije meningsuiting.
