synopsis

Amsterdam 2008. Ferry Bouman works for hashish dealer Brink, a powerful criminal and Ferry’s mentor. One day, the gang is violently robbed and Brink’s son is critically injured. When the robbers’ tracks lead to a group of campers from Brabant, Ferry is told to find and kill the perpetrators. So Ferry goes home, to the region he fled long ago. A strained reunion with his estranged family, a return to the camping life he had left behind, and meeting the charming Danielle slowly undermine his defences. Meanwhile his tense manhunt produces unexpected results. Eventually, Ferry’s loyalty is put to the test.
Amsterdam 2008. Ferry Bouman werkt voor hasjbaron Brink, een machtige crimineel en Ferry’s mentor. Op een dag wordt de bende overvallen en raakt de zoon van Brink levensgevaarlijk gewond. Wanneer de sporen naar een groep Brabantse kampers wijzen, wordt Ferry op pad gestuurd om de daders af te maken. Na jarenlange afwezigheid keert Ferry terug naar zijn geboortestreek. Het stroeve weerzien met zijn vervreemde familie, de terugkeer naar het kamperleven dat hij afgezworen had en de ontmoeting met zijn charmante buurvrouw Danielle kruipen onder zijn stalen pantser. Zijn zoektocht leidt tot onverwachte ontknopingen en uiteindelijk wordt de loyaliteit van Ferry op de proef gesteld.
