In a sculpture park at the heart of a bustling metropolis, Paula, a lonely street artist, entertains people as a living statue. She longs with an impossible love for Agatha, the stone sculpture next to which she can be found every day. When a big living statue festival hits the park, Paula discovers to her dismay that Agatha has been replaced by a new, modern sculpture. After a frantic search, she finds Agatha amidst a group of discarded statues, ready to be taken away the next day. Almost as a farewell she feels a desire to kiss the object of her affection, hoping against hope to awaken her from her stone slumber. As Paula heads to the closing party of the statue event, her kiss does bring Agatha to life and the now living statue follows her to the party. Here they finally find each other and spend the evening together, discovering more about each other’s lives and growing closer in the process.
