synopsis

Sam starts his first week as a helper at a brickyard. He got this job because his new boss is the chairman of the local football team for which he plays. He's a talented goalkeeper. There is much resemblance between Sam and Louis, a 65-year-old who is pottering through the last days before his retirement. They both react strongly to the illegal dumping practices of a firm from the city. But also their boss' hands do not seem to be entirely clean in this business. Will Sam sink into the rut and routine that Louis is rebelling against?
Sam entame sa première semaine en tant qu'apprenti à la briqueterie. Il a obtenu ce boulot grâce à son nouveau patron, qui est président de l'équipe de foot locale dans laquelle il joue. Sam est un gardien de but talentueux. Il y a de nombreuses ressemblances entre Sam et Louis, un potier sexagénaire, qui preste les derniers jours avant sa retraite. Ils réagissent tous les deux avec indignation face aux pratiques illégales de déversement d'ordure d'une société de la ville. Mais leur propre patron ne semble pas être entièrement étranger à cette affaire. Sam et Will s'enliseront-ils dans la routine contre laquelle Louis se rebelle ?
