Shamans in the Amazon respond to the threat of industry encroaching on their ancestral land.

synopsis

An old Yanomami belief says that if the shamans stop dancing, the sky will fall down and crush everything. When Brazilian president Bolsonaro announces that industries can locate in the Amazon, Yanomami territory, Davi Kopenawa and his son Dario expand their battle to an international level to defend their land against the invaders.
Het oude Yanomami-geloof zegt dat wanneer de sjamanen stoppen met dansen, de lucht op de aarde zal vallen en alles zal verpletteren. Als de Braziliaanse president Bolsonaro aankondigt dat industrieën zich mogen vestigen in het Amazonewoud, Yanomami-territorium, starten Davi en Dario Kopenawa hun strijd op internationaal niveau om hun land tegen indringers te verdedigen.
