Home portrays the struggle between two generations: teenagers and adults.

synopsis

Home focuses on a group of youngsters and the adults who surround them. Both find it difficult to communicate and to understand each other's closed-off worlds. Into this community of two struggling generations arrives 17-year-old Kevin. He starts an apprenticeship at his aunt's store and moves in with her and her family. Kevin quickly adapts to his new home and gets along with his cousin Sammy. Through Sammy's circle of friends he meets John. Soon we discover John lives an unbearable situation with his mother and Kevin feels the urge to help his new friend. One evening fate intervenes and questions of betrayal, trust and loyalty start to impact on their daily lives more than ever.
Home volgt een groep tieners en de volwassenen die hen omringen. Beiden hebben het moeilijk om met elkaar te communiceren en elkaars leefwereld te begrijpen. In deze gemeenschap van twee worstelende generaties arriveert de 17-jarige Kevin. Hij volgt een leercontract in de winkel van zijn tante en komt bij haar gezin inwonen. Kevin went snel aan zijn nieuwe thuis en kan goed opschieten met zijn neef Sammy. Hij wordt in diens vriendengroep opgenomen en leert zo John kennen. Al snel wordt duidelijk dat John klem zit in een ondraaglijke thuissituatie en Kevin voelt de drang om zijn nieuwe vriend te helpen. Op een avond slaat het noodlot toe en vragen van verraad, vertrouwen en loyaliteit gaan nu meer dan ooit hun leven dirigeren.
