synopsis

In Hotel Poseidon we follow Dave, a depressed man who doesn't have much left to live for, over the course of one day. Having inherited a run-down hotel, which is now closed, he encounters the most grotesque figures in surreal situations, and is at the mercy of his girlfriend, his domineering mother, and his degenerate friends.
In Hotel Poseidon volgen we gedurende één dag Dave, een trieste man die niet veel meer heeft om voor te leven. Hij heeft van zijn vader een vervallen hotel vol prullaria geërfd. Ondanks dat het hotel gesloten is, komt Dave er de meest groteske figuren tegen in surreële situaties. Zo volgen we als toeschouwer hoe hij de vernederingen en acties incasseert van zijn verschrikkelijk lief, dominerende moeder, walgelijke maten, om uiteindelijk te komen tot een moment van geluk
