A man in his thirties is on the run with a young girl. As they take a ferry to the UK, traces of a common past come to light - a past filled with loss and sorrow. They end up hiding in a small apartment by the seaside, where they live day-to-day, exploring each other's mourning and grief.
I'm the same I'm an other est l'histoire d'un homme et d'une petite fille en cavale. Sur le ferry à destination de la Grande-Bretagne, leur passé commun marqué par le deuil et la tristesse refait surface. Ensemble, ils s'enfuient et se cachent dans un petit appartement à la côte britannique. Unis dans la souffrance, ils explorent au quotidien les sentiments et la sensibilité de l'autre. Mais pourront-ils continuer à cacher leur secret au monde extérieur?
I'm the same I'm an other is de innerlijke reis van een man en een jong meisje samen op de vlucht. Op een vrachtboot richting Verenigd Koninkrijk komt hun gemeenschappelijk verleden aan het licht. Een verleden getekend door verlies. In het geheim duiken ze samen onder in een klein appartement aan de Engelse kust. Verbonden door rouw, leven ze van dag tot dag op zoek naar de grenzen van elkaars gevoelswereld. Maar kunnen ze hun geheim verborgen houden voor de buitenwereld?
