synopsis

Brussels, 1999. Borian and his father Barjaktar have left behind a Kosovo in ruins. All day long, images of the war play on the TV. Then the signal fails. It's a sign for Borian to meet his girlfriend Eva on the roof. When his father shows up to repair the satellite dish, the young lovers' relationship gets complicated...
Bruxelles, 1999. Borian et son père Barjaktar ont fui le Kosovo. Des images de la guerre défilent à longueur de journée sur le petit écran. La télé se brouille. C’est le signal pour Borian d’aller rejoindre sa petite copine Eva sur le toit. Quand le père monte pour réparer le satellite, leur jeune relation se trouble...
Brussel, 1999. Borian en zijn vader Barjaktar zijn gevlucht uit Kosovo. De hele dag door volgen ze de oorlog op het kleine scherm. Het beeld valt weg. Voor Borian is dit het signaal om met zijn vriendin Eva op het dak af te spreken. Wanneer de vader ook boven komt om de satelliet te herstellen, vertroebelt hun jonge relatie...
