synopsis

In Bangladesh, near the Indian border, the couple daughter_investigator and daughter_manager try to run a high-tech tea plantation. To that end, they hire a film company to make a glitzy commercial using AI. This AI gradually goes on a hallucinogenic trip and takes possession of various characters in and around the plantation, a cast that includes ritualistic priests, corrupt cops, bandits, petty politicians, guerrillas and socialists.
Une plantation de thé high-tech au Bangladesh, près de la frontière indienne. Comme beaucoup de régions frontalières dans le monde, une région où prospèrent des flibustiers de toutes sortes : prêtres ritualistes, flics, bandits, petits politiciens, guérilleros, collectifs socialistes. Au milieu du tumulte de cette bande de bouffons et de vautours misanthropes, le couple fille_investigateur et fille_manager tente de faire tourner la plantation de thé. À cette fin, ils engagent une société de cinéma qui réalisera pour eux une publicité tape-à-l'œil en utilisant l'IA. Cette IA part progressivement en voyage hallucinogène et prend possession de divers personnages dans et autour de la plantation.
Een hoogtechnologische theeplantage in Bangladesh vlakbij de Indische grens. Net zoals vele grensstreken wereldwijd, een regio waar vrijbuiters allerlei floreren: ritualistische priesters, corrupte flikken, bandieten, kleingeestige politici, guerrilla's, socialistische collectieven. Temidden het tumult van deze misantropische bende narren en aasgieren probeert het koppel dochter_onderzoeker en dochter_manager de theeplantage te runnen. Met dat doel voor ogen huren ze een filmbedrijf in, dat een blitse reclamespot voor hen zal maken en waarbij ze gebruik maken van AI. Deze AI gaat gaandeweg op een hallucinogene trip en neemt bezit van verschillende personages in en rond de plantage.
