Shot during a 120-show tour across Europe, the US, Latin America, Japan and Australia, Part of the Weekend Never Dies captures the excess, cynicism, delusion, ridiculousness, contradiction, exhaustion and humour of the life of DJs and bands on the road. For this documentary, acclaimed young filmmaker Saam Farahmand made use of just one camera shooting Soulwax, one of the hottest Belgian bands. The film documents four guys making people forget everything and lose their shit, day in, day out.
