Ludo and Karel are more than best friends: together they went through almost every stage of their lives. They hoped to grow old together with their families, until Ludo's wife suddenly leaves him. But when the two friends meet for a performance of Beethoven's Pathétique, the pianist turns out to be Ludo's new girlfriend.
