Based on the novel by Carlo Collodi: Pinocchio, carved out of wood by his 'father' Geppetto, becomes a young puppet boy. His journey to adulthood involves individual and heart-wrenching transformations, of poor and good teachers and friends, of sentencing and imprisonment, of promises, strength and survival.
