A reclusive but brilliant professor in criminology becomes consultant to a detective division and turns out to be a master investigator.
Jasper Teerlinck is een eigenzinnige, maar briljante professor in de criminologie aan de Universiteit van Antwerpen. Als inspecteur Donckers van de Federale Gerechtelijke Politie een verkrachtingszaak niet krijgt opgelost, roept zij de hulp in van haar oud-professor. Al snel ontpopt die zich tot een onmisbare schakel binnen het speurdersteam. De samenwerking met professor T. verloopt echter niet altijd even vlot. Hij heeft - om het zacht uit te drukken - een aantal speciale karaktertrekken, waarvan zijn 'moeilijke' omgang met andere mensen en de neiging om iedereen de waarheid te zeggen er slechts twee zijn.
