synopsis

On May 25, 2011, the world-renowned Ballet de l'Opéra National de Paris presented 'Rain', its first ever performance by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Olivia Rochette and Gerard-Jan Claes follow the rehearsal process from the auditions to the opening night.
Le 25 mai 2011, le mondialement célèbre Ballet de l’Opéra National de Paris présentait pour la première fois une performance de Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, « Rain ». Olivia Rochette et Gerard-Jean Claes ont suivi le processus de répétition, depuis les auditions jusqu’à la première représentation. Un documentaire poétique sur les recherches, observations et hésitations à l’intérieur des murs d’un opéra, qui peut à certains moments devenir très confiné.
