Julia is an ambitious casting agent who is struggling to build a new life. She masks her insecurities behind a facade of success. Then she meets microbiologist Eliott and forms an authentic friendship that inspires her to break free.

synopsis

At the age of 29, casting agent Julia relocates to Brussels for a job in the advertising industry. There she meets Eliott, a reclusive microbiologist in his early thirties who studies lichen. Intrigued by their contrasting professions and personalities, Julia and Eliott slowly grow closer. Assigned to an important perfume ad, Julia has the ultimate opportunity to prove herself, but the pressure is intense. Julia loses herself. She starts to cross people’s boundaries, including Eliott’s. Things spiral out of control, and Julia finally decides to take her life in her own hands.
L'histoire de Julia (29), agent de casting qui déménage de Paris à Bruxelles après une rupture amoureuse, et d'Eliott (32), microbiologiste sur le point de déménager de Bruxelles au Groenland pour des recherches de lichen. C’est l’histoire de leur rencontre inattendue dans un Airbnb et de l'amitié qui se forme entre eux, avant qu’ils se disent au revoir à nouveau.
Het verhaal van Julia (29), een casting agent die van Parijs naar Brussel verhuist na een relatiebreuk, en Eliott (32), een microbioloog die op het punt staat van Brussel naar Groenland te verhuizen voor veldonderzoek naar lichen. Hun toevallige ontmoeting in een Airbnb heeft een onverwachte impact en er vormt zich een bijzondere vriendschap, waarna ze opnieuw afscheid moeten nemen.
