The coronavirus has been raging through Europe for several weeks. The cultural sector is in lockdown and its people are sitting at home, without immediate prospects. Seven performing artists, however, draw strength from the standstill and quickly switch to an alternative way of working. Can policymakers do the same for the broader sector in Flanders, a region in the heart of Europe with a highly developed cultural life?
Het coronavirus raast al enkele weken door Europa. De cultuursector zit op slot en de makers zitten thuis, voorlopig zonder enig perspectief. Zeven artiesten slagen erin veerkracht te putten uit de stilstand en tonen als geen ander dat ze snel kunnen schakelen naar een alternatief denkkader. Maar kan de politiek dat voor de brede cultuursector ook?
