A story about lost dreams, second chances and family, set against the high-octane, adrenaline-fuelled world of independent motorcycle racing.

When the promising motorcyclist Nicky (Matteo Simoni) fails to make his dream come true he tries to relive it by coaching his 15-year-old nephew Charlie (Valentijn Braeckman). It quickly becomes clear though that they're not cut from the same cloth. In the tough world of motorcycle racing, self-confidence is a key quality and its loss turns into a nightmare.
Nicky is een jonge ambitieuze motorrijder pur sang. Elke race zet hij zijn leven op het spel voor de kicks, respect en roem. Zijn wereld stort in wanneer hij door een ongeval nooit meer zal kunnen racen. Hij raakt geïsoleerd en zoekt steun bij zijn schoonzus Vero en haar zoon Charlie. Wanneer die hem aanraden een normale job te zoeken en zijn leven opnieuw op te starten, probeert Nicky dit met de beste wil van de wereld. Maar de roep van adrenaline en kicks is te groot waardoor hij via zijn neefje Charlie zijn droom alsnog tracht te beleven. Als coach pusht hij zijn pupil tot het uiterste. Maar ook hier kent hij geen limieten want zijn neefje is duidelijk niet uit hetzelfde hout gesneden.
