• So what now?
  To answer Bibi’s question from the season one finale, season 2 of Roomies takes us not only to the next step in Bibi and Ama’s life, but also to their new, unlikely home: an old kindergarten. Without the structure of school and with empty wallets, they tumble head-first into adulthood - and it’s not the soft playground landing they’d hoped for. People-pleaser Bibi starts dreaming of life beyond her first relationship, while “independent” Ama surprises even herself by craving the one thing she’s sworn off: stability. As both chase their own ideals, a new question echoes through the kindergarten: is living together helping them grow up - or to avoid it? (Also: they’re still gay.)

  La saison 2 de Roomies répond à la question de Bibi en suivant Bibi et Ama vers une nouvelle étape: leur vie d’adultes… dans une ancienne crèche. Sans le confort des études et avec des portefeuilles vides, elles plongent tête baissée dans l’âge adulte, une aventure loin d’être un jeu d’enfants. Bibi rêve d’une vie au-delà de son premier amour, tandis qu’Ama découvre qu’elle désire enfin la stabilité qu’elle a toujours fuie. Vivre ensemble: une façon de grandir, ou de retarder le moment de le faire ? (Et oui, elles sont toujours gay.)
• Om Bibi's vraag uit de finale van seizoen 1 te beantwoorden, neemt seizoen 2 ons mee naar de volgende stap in het leven van Bibi en Ama, én naar hun nieuwe thuis: een oud crèchegebouw. Zonder schoolstructuur en met lege portefeuilles storten ze zich halsoverkop het volwassen leven in – geen kinderspel. Terwijl people-pleaser Bibi stiekem droomt van een leven buiten haar eerste relatie, verrast de ‘onafhankelijke’ Ama ook zichzelf met een verlangen naar dat wat ze altijd afzwoer: stabiliteit. Terwijl beide Roomies hun eigen idealen najagen, weerklinkt een nieuwe vraag door de crèche: helpt het samenwonen Bibi en Ama nog vooruit? Of houdt het hen tegen? (Also: they’re still gay.)
