'Rosas danst Rosas' (1983), Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's third choreography was the basis for the Rosas ensemble. It showed for the first time an integration of the emotional-theatrical elements from the repetitive-mathematical structures of Asch and Fase, her other choreographies.

Rosas danst Rosas' (1983), Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's third choreography was the basis for the Rosas ensemble. It showed for the first time an integration of the emotional-theatrical elements from the repetitive-mathematical structures of Asch and Fase, her other choreographies. Moreover, music and choreography were literally written together during the creative process, which led to a unique concurrence of musical and choreographic energy. 'Rosas danst Rosas' remains in our minds as a performance in which the transparency of the means used was connected to sometimes conflicting feelings such as fear and aggression, vulnerability and harshness, anxiety and alertness.
Rosas danst Rosas' (1983), troisième chorégraphie d'Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker a servi de base pour l'ensemble Rosas. Elle y montre pour la première fois une intégration des éléments de structures répétitives de Asch et Fase, ses deux autres chorégraphies. Ici la musique de Thierry de Mey et la chorégraphie ont été littéralement écrits ensemble pendant le processus de création, ce qui a conduit à un accord unique de l'énergie musicale et chorégraphique. 'Rosas danst Rosas' reste dans nos esprits comme une performance dans laquelle la transparence des moyens utilisés était reliée à des sentiments parfois contradictoires comme la peur et l'agressivité, la vulnérabilité et la dureté, l'anxiété et la vigilance.

Het toonde voor het eerst een integratie van de emotionele-theatrale elementen van de repetitieve-wiskundige structuren van Asch en Fase, haar andere choreografieën. Bovendien werden muziek en choreografie letterlijk samen geschreven tijdens het creatieve proces, wat leidde tot een unieke samenloop van muzikale en choreografische energie. 'Rosas danst Rosas' blijft in onze gedachten als een performance waarin de transparantie van de gebruikte middelen werd verbonden met soms tegenstrijdige gevoelens als angst en agressie, kwetsbaarheid en hardheid, angst en alertheid.
