synopsis

Ruby Rules is The West Wing tailored to children from 6 to 12 years old, and with a lot of humour. In the West Wing, the set-up is an impending nuclear war between Russia and America. Ruby Rules is about the destination of the annual school trip. Instead of the president and his entourage, we follow Ruby, the president, and four other members of the student council. With positive enthusiasm, Ruby and her best friends are committed to their high school and their fellow students. However, there is one councilmember who never agrees with Ruby and her friends. He is actively opposing them with his attempts to thwart their plans because he wants to take Ruby’s place as chairman.
The West Wing op kindermaat. De inzet is een dreigende oorlog tussen Rusland en Amerika. In De Raad van Soekie gaat het over het conflict wie woensdagnamiddag de turnzaal mag gebruiken: de musicalgroep of de basketters. Voorzitster Soekie en de andere leden van de leerlingenraad zetten zich met positief idealisme in voor de school en de medeleerlingen. Er is echter één raadslid, Moussa, dat nooit akkoord is met Soekie. Deze opportunist wil haar plaats innemen, hij ziet de raad als een business waar hij geld mee kan verdienen.
