Schellebelle 1919 raconte l’histoire de la famille Van De Veldes. La fille aînée, Coralie, a peine âgée de 16 ans, accueillit chez elle pas moins de 25 orphelins durant la Première Guerre mondiale. Mais la famille est menacée de plusieurs côtés. L’organisation Child support veut placer les enfants dans un orphelinat et plusieurs personnalités éminentes ont pointé leurs flèches en direction de leur ferme. Mais la famille se défend par tous les moyens…
