Lonely 16-year-old Keely is being bullied by the older Sarah, a girl on her ballet course. Then she meets Mairi, an eccentric and attractive young woman, with whom she forms a friendship. But soon Keely becomes obsessed with Mairi's lifestyle....
Shimi est l’histoire de Keely, une adolescente solitaire de 16 ans qui est harcelée par Sarah (18 ans), une jeune fille de son cours de ballet. A un moment étrange, Keely rencontre Mairi (21 ans), une jeune fille excentrique et attirante qui lui est parfaitement opposée. La nouvelle amitié entre les deux filles prend une dimension dangereuse lorsque Keely se prend de passion pour le style de vie décousu de Mairi. Shimi est un portrait narratif poétique avec une cinématographie rafraîchissante.
