synopsis

The Box Collector tells of brooding young artist Harry Green whose passion is to collect cardboard boxes as inspiration for his paintings. He suffers from recurring nightmares and can't remember his father who died when he was a child. When the flirtatious Marie moves in next door, her gorgeous face and stunning body cause every man to look twice - including Harry. But his possessive and over-protective mother Beth dominates him and cannot bear the influence Marie has on Harry: she will do whatever it takes to stop her.
The Box Collector raconte l’histoire du jeune et sombre artiste Harry Green, dont la passion est de collectionner les emballages en cartons, comme inspiration pour ses peintures. Il souffre de cauchemars récurrents, et ne peut se souvenir de son père, décédé lorsqu’il était enfant. Lorsque la charmeuse Marie Dupont emménage dans la maison voisine, son visage magnifique et son corps éblouissant qui incitent les hommes à la regarder à deux reprises- y compris Harry- celui-ci tombe amoureux dès le premier regard. Beth, sa mère possessive et surprotectrice le domine et ne peut supporter l’influence que Marie a sur Harry. Elle va mettre tout en œuvre pour l’arrêter.
