For what mysterious reasons did Brussels, a small and fairly unexceptional city, become the capital of Europe? Does it owe this honour to chance or to a particular characteristic?
Une enquête sur le plus étrange des emblèmes jamais adoptés par une ville – celui d’un enfant qui urine – et sur les tournants souvent tragiques et parfois comiques du destin, endurés par l’un des plus beaux travaux architecturaux au monde – la Grand-Place de Bruxelles. Ce film pose la question suivante : pour quelles raisons mystérieuses Bruxelles, une petite ville qui n’a rien de particulièrement exceptionnel, est-elle devenue la Capitale de l’Europe ?
