synopsis

A young mixed-race couple (Malik has Moroccan origins and Silke is Belgian) argue about how they're going to receive his parents who eventually got their travel visa. Silke has the morning off and offers to take care of everything. She searches on the internet as to how she can prepare a traditional Moroccan recipe. But Malik is delayed on his way home and when Silke opens the door to her future parents-in-law, there are not just the two of them standing in front of her...
Un jeune couple mixte ( Malik a des origines marocaines et Silke est Flamande) se querellent pour savoir comment recevoir pour la première fois les parents de Malik, qui viennent enfin de recevoir leur visa pour visiter la Belgique. Silke a une matinée de libre etpropose de s'en occuper. Elle cherche sur internet comment faire un plat traditionnel marocain et prépare une belle table pour quatre. Mais Malik n'arrive pas à l'heure ce soir là et quand elle ouvre la porte, elle ne découvre pas que les parents! Toute l'organisation tourne vite au chaos parce ni Silke, ni Souad ( la maman de Malik) ont eu l'idée de demander des informations sur leurs habitudes respectives.
Een jong gemengd koppel ( Zij Vlaams, hij van Marrokaanse origine) ruziet een beetje over hoe ze voor de eerste keer de ouders van Malik, die eindelijk een reisvisum kregen, gaan ontvangen. Silke is vrij in de voormiddag en beloofd voor een diner te zorgen Ze zoekt op internet wat info over een traditionele recept en maakt een mooie tafel voor vier. Maar Malik komt die avond wat te laat aan en wanneer Silke de deur opent staan er niet alleen de ouders van Malik.De hele organisatie van Silke draait in de soep, want noch Silke, noch Souad ( de mama van Malik) hebben het idee gehad om elkaar iets te vragen over hun gewoontes en verwachtingen.
