synopsis

The Vatican enters the Pope's inner circle and shows how cardinals, bishops, and functionaries at every echelon of the organisation govern the church’s 1.4 billion followers. In six episodes, director and International Emmy nominee Kat Steppe portrays the 2000-year-old, global institution from within, focusing on its major challenges in the 21st century.
Het Vaticaan biedt een kijk op de besloten kring van de paus en laat zien hoe kardinalen, bisschoppen en leden op alle niveau's van deze organisatie hun 1,4 miljard volgelingen opereren. In zes afleveringen neemt regisseur en International Emmy genomineerde Kat Steppe de kijker mee naar het 2000 jaar oude en wereldwijde instituut.
