synopsis

The Vatican enters the Pope's inner circle and shows how cardinals, bishops, and functionaries at every echelon of the organisation govern the church’s 1.4 billion followers. In six episodes, director and International Emmy nominee Kat Steppe portrays the 2000-year-old, global institution from within, focusing on its major challenges in the 21st century.
