He moves on in insensitive and desolate surroundings until he meets a young woman who feels attracted to this peculiar loner. With his poetic approach, his humanity and his sense of humour, director Bouli Lanners presents a delicate image of a modern society and creates a bitter-sweet fresco that brings us back to our eternal quest for love.
