synopsis

Every day, Jay drives his cab through Tokyo in search of his daughter, Lily. Separated for nine years, he has never been able to get custody of her. Just as he has given up hope of seeing her again and is about to return to France, Lily gets into his cab. But she doesn't recognise him...
Tous les jours, Jay parcourt Tokyo au volant de son taxi à la recherche de sa fille, Lily. Séparé depuis 9 ans, il n’a jamais pu obtenir sa garde. Alors qu’il a cessé d'espérer la revoir et qu'il s’apprête à rentrer en France, Lily entre dans son taxi, mais elle ne le reconnait pas…
Elke dag rijdt Jay met zijn taxi door Tokio op zoek naar zijn dochter Lily. Ze zijn al 9 jaar gescheiden en Jay heeft nooit de voogdij over haar kunnen krijgen. Net als hij de hoop heeft opgegeven om haar weer te zien en op het punt staat om terug te keren naar Frankrijk, stapt Lily in zijn taxi, maar ze herkent hem niet...
