synopsis

Vanessa is a 60-year-old Belgian actress and one of Belgium's first transsexuals. The autobiographical monologue she performs is a great success in her country so she embarks on an international tour, accompanied by her coach and her pregnant technician. Three women on the road... From villages to big cities, from high hopes to despair, in the expectation of the big final performance in Paris. While the tour becomes increasingly intense, Vanessa reveals parts of her personal story: her life as a transsexual woman.
Vanessa est une actrice belge de soixante ans et l’un des premiers transsexuels de Belgique. Le one woman show autobiographique qu’elle joue est un énorme succès dans le pays. Elle entame une tournée internationale, accompagnée de sa coach et de sa technicienne enceinte. Trois femmes sur la route. Des villages aux métropoles, des hauts espoirs aux désespoirs, dans l’espérance d’une gigantesque dernière performance à Paris. Alors que la tournée se poursuit et devient de plus en plus intense, Vanessa révèle des fragments de son histoire personnelle: sa vie en tant que femme transsexuelle.
