A crummy job at a run-down restaurant. A wife who is chronically ill. The anti-social neighbours. An extramarital affair that offers little more than sexual gratification. Fictitious fifty-year-old waiter Edgar has had enough of his miserable existence... He wants out of the relationship with his wife, he wants a new girlfriend, he wants new neighbours and he is fed up with being treated like a doormat by his customers. But Edgar's about to find out the hard way that his life is truly stranger than fiction.
Un job minable dans un restaurant délabré. Une femme souffrant d’une maladie chronique. Les voisins asociaux. Une aventure extraconjugale offrant peu de choses en plus que la satisfaction sexuelle. Edgar, un serveur cinquantenaire, en a assez de son existence misérable… Il ne veut plus de sa relation avec sa femme, il veut une nouvelle compagne, de nouveaux voisins et en a assez d’être pris pour une carpette par ses clients. Mais Edgar va bientôt découvrir la dure réalité que sa vie est réellement plus étrange que la fiction.
