synopsis

Allison is an 11-year-old girl with divorced parents. When her mother decides to move, Allison faces the reality of a patchwork family. On the road to their new house, Allison blanks completely. She repeatedly tries to call her father in the hope that he will come and get her. She finds herself in a space between past and present. Will Allison succeed in overcoming herself in a world full of memories, desires, fears and hopes? Will she come to realise that her wish for love and harmony might be closer than she initially thought?
Allison est une fille de 11 ans avec des parents divorcés. Quand sa mère décide de déménager, Allison est confrontée à la réalité d'une famille recomposée. En route vers leur nouvelle maison, elle bloque complètement. À plusieurs reprises, elle tente d'appeler son père dans l'espoir qu'il vienne la chercher. Elle est coincée dans un pli entre passé et présent. Allison parviendra-t-elle à gagner une victoire sur elle-même, dans un monde rempli de souvenirs, de désirs, de craintes et d’espoirs? Est-ce qu’elle se rendra compte que son désir pour l’amour et l’harmonie n’est pas si inimaginable ?
Allison is een 11-jarig meisje met gescheiden ouders. Wanneer haar moeder beslist om te verhuizen, wordt Allison geconfronteerd met de werkelijkheid van een nieuw-samengesteld gezin. Op weg naar hun nieuwe huis blokkeert ze volledig. Herhaaldelijk probeert ze haar vader te bellen, in de hoop dat hij haar komt halen. Ze zit vast in een plooi tussen heden en verleden. Slaagt Allison er in om, in een wereld vol met herinneringen, verlangens, angsten en hoop, zichzelf te overwinnen? Komt ze tot het besef dat haar drang naar liefde en harmonie misschien dichterbij is dan ze aanvankelijk kon vermoeden?
